Board of Marina, Parks, and Forestry Commissioners

The Board of Marina, Parks, and Forestry is an advisory committee to the Public Works Committee and also functions as a Tree Board. It consists of one Alderperson representative who is the Chairperson of the Public Works Committee, as well as representatives from the County Board, the Marina, the Historic Preservation Commission, the Sheboygan School Recreation Department, the City Plan Commission, and three city residents. It also includes the Superintendent of Parks and Forestry. It is our job to work cooperatively with Public Works to oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of the marina, public parks, open-spaces, park buildings, park facilities, and other similar pubic property.
